We are looking for a Freelance Developer

Full Stack Developer with a Back-End Focus 

Digital Society School (DSS) stands as a distinct entity within the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS), autonomously managing its financing.  As a pioneer in creating learning experiences that harness digital transformation for positive societal impact, DSS unites individuals across disciplines, cultures, and generations through collaborative programs.  

Location: Remote / On-location (Amsterdam) 

Start Date: We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. 

Overview: We are seeking a skilled freelance developer to build custom features for a project that integrates with Moodle using its API. This project involves developing features outside of Moodle’s existing functionality, primarily using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and the Primeview front-end framework. 

 Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a freelance developer or similar role. 

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. 

• Proficiency in GitLab. 

• Understanding of database management and design. 

• Familiarity with generating PDF documents programmatically. 

• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical details clearly. 

• Working permit within the EU.  

 Nice to Have: 

• Experience with Moodle API integration. 

• Familiarity with Primeview or similar front-end frameworks. 

• Experience in optimizing applications for scalability and performance. 

 Duration and Hours: 

This project is estimated to take approximately 30 hours. However, we would like to have an introductory conversation with the selected developer to explain the requirements in detail and discuss if you have different estimations based on your expertise.
