Youngji Cho (OZZO) is a media artist, creative technologist and playful researcher rooted in planet Earth. She is always sensing the time and space by seeing, listening, smelling, tasting, touching, and feeling life. She loves to create and share experiences, tinker around with any objects or non-objects that surrounding her, and care about her life and lives of others. She is fascinated by beauties and dark sides of technology in and outside of anthropocentric world views and any phenomenon generated from human nature or/and mother nature. She is fond of translating her interests in more nonverbal forms of communication like facial expression, movement of our body, smells, sounds, or making something tangible. We are all living in sensible/insensible systems, and it is meaningful for her that how we shape those systems together in more open and caring ways to all of us.

I am Greek (from Athens) but I currently live in Amsterdam and I am Program Manager of the Track "Educational Technology for Social Change" at Digital Society School (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences). On ground, I have worked as full-time Faculty at the University of Barcelona, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the University of California at Berkeley, the European University Cyprus and Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences. As far as Distance & Online Education are concerned, I have collaborated with UK Universities (Liverpool, Roehampton and Essex), as well as Walden University, the Open University of Catalonia and the Open University of Cyprus mainly teaching in post-graduate and doctorate programs. As far as my education is concerned, I got my PhD. in Distance Education and Instructional Technology from the University of Barcelona (Department of Research Methods and Diagnostics in Education). I also have 5 master degrees in a) Teaching and Learning in Digital Environments, b) Educational Assessment and Program Evaluation, c) Southeast European Studies, d) Management of Organizations in the Economy of Knowledge and e) Evaluation and Quality Management in Higher Education. My research focuses on new and emerging pedagogies, instructional design, digital transformation, teachers' training and professional development and quality assurance in distance education. In 2015 I was the winner of the International "David Wilson Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning", which gave me funding and the opportunity to start a research on quality assurance e-learning course design standards among various universities worldwide. Since 2019 I am Senior Fellow of the Higher Education academy and in January 2020 I became fellow of the Royal Academy of Arts.
