Conerlious Zechariah Sagandira was born in Nyanga, Zimbabwe. His passion as a software engineer came from a life-long obsession with mitigating real-world challenges using technology. From a young age, he has been someone who likes technology. The simple fact of programming to make something functional that can help solve an existing situation to make human life easy brings him endless satisfaction. 

 After graduating with a BSc degree in computer science from Jönköping University, Sweden in 2019. Conerlious has been doing part-time jobs for various companies in Sweden such as Sigma IT, KIFRAME AB, and Pantos Logistics as an automation engineer, back-end web developer, and junior project manager. In August 2019, he moved to the south of Sweden (Lund), where the best university in Sweden is, and pursued a master's degree in Information Systems specializing in Artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning. He graduated with a cum laude master's degree which gave him an opportunity to work on a project with Digital Society School and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands towards making a robot that can help minimize the disposal of wood residual towards the UN 2030 sustainability goals.

I work with researchers and educators to explore new ways of translating theory to experience. Through creating software, interactive installations and tangible metaphors, I build experiences that challenge people to open up their curiosity and allow new perspectives on a cognitive, affective and embodied level. Next to working at my own studio, I lead the creative and technical development of AR and VR projects at Leiden University's Centre for Innovation. We focus on creating solutions for education and (mental) healthcare. A question that currently keeps me busy is: how can we make use of collective awe experiences to improve both personal and societal well-being?
