VR SUMMER SCHOOL

From 2-19th of July 2018, the DSS Summer School explores the added value of VR for narrative production. You will make a short VR Experience based on the novel ‘Sleep tight Johnny Idaho’ by award winning Dutch novelist Auke Hust simultaneously with teams in New York and Seul. The VR experience invites users to reflect on society and its digital transformation. You will work on assignments and follow online lectures by experts on VR, digital society, digital transformation, and the Sustainable Development Goals. The process is supported by an expert coach who assist you with tech and creative issues.

Open to: students, recent graduates and professionals

Duration: 3 weeks

Costs: The VR Program costs 990E per person, but this first summerschool edition is free of charge for a selection of max 10 persons. Full commitment for the entire period of time required.

Location: VR-Base at the Marineterrein in Amsterdam
