ENTREPRENEURSHIP LUNCH

On 25 June 2019 learners of the Digital Society School will share with us results of the Grow Kit project that focuses on the question: How can we use technology to grow our own food?

In a project commissioned by VodafoneZiggo, the students of the Digital Society School analyze if and how technology can help improve sustainable food consumption. They created a sensors system to use at home, that is able to detect plants’ needs (moisture, temperature, light) and give visual feedback to the urban gardener. In this way, everybody can be a gardener and cultivate vegetables in a city environment.

Date: 25 June
Time: 12.00-13.00
Location: Amsterdam Venture Studios, Wibautstraat 3b.
Amsterdam Venture Studios is located at Wibauthuis, left of the main entrance.

There is limited space at the lunchtable, so sign up quickly and book a seat!

Entrepreneurship lunches

In order to stimulate cross-fertilization between entrepreneurship and other disciplines, the Entrepreneurship Program organizes Entrepreneurship lunches. The lunches take place every two weeks in the Venture Studios in the Wibauthuis. Both AUAS and external researchers and teachers are invited to present their work and discuss current entrepreneurship issues with a select audience. Other AUAS spearheads are also actively involved.
